Awards are presented at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Event in recognition of the contributions in the previous calendar year. All active CCSS volunteers are eligible.

Connections Community Services Society (CCSS) celebrated the Volunteer Appreciation Awards 2026 on March 8, bringing together over 80 volunteers, community leaders, and supporters. The event recognized outstanding contributions across CCSS programs, highlighted inspiring remarks from community leaders, and honoured youth leadership through the Connections Youth L.E.A.D Scholarship and Youth of the Year Scholarship awards.

On a breezy Sunday before Lunar New Year, CCSS came alive with laughter, movement, and connection as seniors gathered to celebrate the Year of the Horse through games, performances, shared meals and joyful moments.

CCSS hosted our second Speed Puzzling Competition on January 11, 2026, welcoming nine teams for an exciting 500-piece challenge. Congratulations to The Puzzle Swappers, Piece Keepers, and Iggie for their top finishes!

Connections Community Services Society hosted a P.E.T. parenting workshop empowering families with practical tools, empathy-based communication skills, and deeper understanding to build stronger, healthier parent–child relationships in today’s digital world.
