Success Story

Every Child Has a Story Worth Celebrating

A child had been expressing very low self-esteem by saying things like “Nobody likes me,” “I’m bullied,” “Kids make fun of me,” “Kids think I’m dumb,” and “No one wants to play with me.” They were nervous and often worried.

After empowering them, providing opportunities to take on a leadership role, building their self-esteem, and allowing them to express themselves, they became much calmer and began laughing and playing with others.

They now enjoy coming to Connections Kids Club and spending time with their friends.
