Little moments. Big beginnings.
A warm, play-based early learning community for children aged 30 months to 5 years, where children can explore, create, build friendships and grow with confidence.
Why Connections?
More than childcare. A place to belong.
We want every child to feel safe, known and welcomed — with space to be themselves, discover what they can do and build meaningful connections.
Caring Relationships
Warm, consistent relationships help children feel secure, build confidence and become comfortable exploring new experiences.
Learning Through Play
Art, building, sensory experiences and open-ended materials turn children's natural curiosity into meaningful learning.
Room to Explore
Indoor and outdoor experiences give children opportunities to move, imagine, investigate and discover.
Growing Independence
Everyday choices and routines help children develop independence, communication, social skills and confidence.
Life at Connections
Childhood should be full of moments like these.
Laughter, friendship, colour, creativity, experiments and new discoveries are all part of a child's learning journey.
A Day at Connections
Familiar rhythms. New possibilities every day.
Our days combine child-led exploration, creative experiences, social connection, outdoor play and quieter moments.
Our Learning Environment
Spaces designed around how children learn.
Materials are accessible so children can make choices, revisit ideas and move naturally between collaborative and quieter experiences.

Miss Harmony Choi
Hi everyone, it’s my pleasure to become an Early Childhood Educator at Connections Community Services Society.
I am Harmony Choi, and I was an English teacher in middle schools in Hong Kong for around 20 years before I came to Canada. With my specialty in the education field teaching children and teenagers and my passion for supporting young children’s development, I am particularly passionate about nurturing children’s holistic development and creating a supportive and caring learning environment where every child feels valued.
I am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, which allows me to effectively support children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I am dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children. I believe in building strong relationships with families and creating meaningful learning experiences that support each child’s development.
“I truly believe in the potentials and uniqueness in every individual child!”
Miss Florence Lo
Hello! My name is Florence, and I am excited to join the CCSS Childcare Centre team.
I have over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, including teaching and leadership roles in Hong Kong.
I believe that every child is unique, capable, and learns best through play, exploration, and caring relationships. I enjoy creating a warm, joyful, and inclusive environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
You know your child best.
We value ongoing communication with families so parents and educators can share what they notice about each child's strengths, interests and individual needs.
The Connections community can continue beyond preschool.
Connections Kids Club also provides before and after school care at Spul'u'kwuks for children from Kindergarten to Grade 7.
