Connections Community Services Society (CCSS) is pleased to be featured in Richmond News for our Lunar New Year Charity Calligraphy Fundraising Event at Parker Place.

The article highlights Master Calligrapher Ronald Zhang (張士方) and student volunteer Aiden Luo (羅栩烽), who will be writing traditional Chinese New Year banners (Fai Chun) on-site from February 13–16. Visitors can receive custom-written calligraphy by donation, with proceeds supporting CCSS programs for children, youth, seniors, and families.

The feature also shares Mr. Zhang’s lifelong dedication to Chinese calligraphy and the meaningful intergenerational connection between him and Aiden—reflecting CCSS’s commitment to cultural heritage, volunteerism, and community engagement.

We are grateful to Richmond News for highlighting this initiative and helping us share the spirit of Lunar New Year with the wider community.
