Dear CKC Families,
We hope you are having a wonderful summer!
With the new school year just over a month away, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all families joining our Connections Kids Club Before & After School Program. Our team is looking forward to meeting your children and supporting them throughout the upcoming school year.
As we prepare for September, we would like to share a few important reminders regarding the start of the school year.
System Update – Please Review Your Child's Information
During the month of August, we will be carrying out a Connections Kids Club (CKC) system update.
As part of this process, families will receive an email from our registration system in batches throughout August. We kindly ask that you review and update your child's information, including:
- Personal and family information
- Authorized pick-up contacts
- Emergency contacts
- Medical information (if applicable)
We would also like to take this opportunity to update our records by asking families to:
- Upload a recent, front-facing profile photo of your child.
- Update your child's immunization records.
Keeping your child's information up to date helps us provide a safe and efficient program for all children. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
First Day of School (Day 1)
The first day of school typically lasts only a few hours and our Before & After School Program will not operate under its regular schedule on that day.
However, we will be hosting an Open House and encourage families to visit with their children, meet our staff, and become familiar with the classroom and program environment. Additional details regarding the Open House schedule will be sent closer to the start of school, taking into consideration school schedules and room availability.
Second Day of School (Day 2)
The program will resume regular operating hours beginning on the second day of school. All enrolled children are welcome to attend during regular program hours.
For Kindergarten students, the first two weeks of school will follow the school's gradual entry schedule. Families may continue to use our program during regular operating hours. Once children transition to full-day Kindergarten, they are welcome to attend the program daily. Our staff will escort Kindergarten students to their classroom in the morning and pick them up from their classroom in the afternoon.

Throughout August, we will be sending several emails to help families prepare for the school year, including:
- Staff introductions
- Site-specific contact information
- Program reminders and procedures
- Additional information for the first week of school

相信你和家人正享受一個愉快的暑假！距離新學年開始只剩下一個多月，我們謹此歡迎各位家庭加入Connections Kids Club課前及課後託管（Before & After School Program）。心連心的團隊十分期待在九月與各位小朋友和家長見面，並陪伴學生展開新學年的學習旅程。
在開學前，我們希望與大家分享幾項重要資訊：
系統更新通知－請更新學生資料
我們將在8月份進行 Connections Kids Club (CKC) 系統更新。系統將分批向家長發送電郵，請家長協助核對及更新子女的資料，包括：
- 學生及家庭基本資料
- 授權接送人士（Authorized Pick-up）
- 緊急聯絡人（Emergency Contacts）
- 醫療資料（如適用）
此外，我們亦希望藉此機會更新學生檔案，請家長：
- 上載一張學生最新、清晰及正面的個人照片（Profile Picture）；
- 更新學生的疫苗接種紀錄（Immunization Record）。
保持學生資料準確及最新，有助我們為孩子提供更安全、更完善的照顧服務。感謝各位家長一直以來的支持與配合！
開學第一天（Day 1）
開學首日通常只會上課數小時，當天我們不會提供課前及課後託管服務，不過將安排Open House開放參觀時段，歡迎家長與孩子到訪，認識職員及參觀課室環境。具體時間將因應學校安排及場地使用情況，於稍後透過電郵通知大家。
開學第二天（Day 2）
由開學第二天起，將按正常運作時間提供服務，所有已報名參加的學生均可參與課前及課後託管。
幼稚園（Kindergarten）學生在開學首兩星期將按照學校的循序漸進入學安排（Gradual Entry）上課，家長仍可按需要使用我們的服務。待學生正式過渡至全日制幼稚園後，便可每天參與我們的課前及課後託管計劃。心連心職員將於早上陪同幼稚園學生前往課室，並於下午放學後到課室接回幼稚園學生參與課後活動。
