Lower Your Energy Bills with Free Home Upgrades
The Energy Conservation Assistance Program helps income-qualified households make their homes more comfortable and energy-efficient with free home energy upgrades and expert advice.
We are working in partnership with BC Hydro and FortisBC to help residents learn more about the program and apply. Eligible households can receive up to $5,000 worth of energy-saving upgrades.
What You May Receive:
- Free home energy assessment
- Personalized energy-saving advice
- Insulation upgrades (attic, ceiling, or underbelly)
- Air source heat pump (includes 2 years of maintenance)
- Other weatherization measures
- Free Energy Saving Kit
Who can Apply:
- Income-qualified households
- BC Hydro customers
- Renters (with landlord permission)
Eligible housing types:
- Single-family detached home
- Townhome
- Rowhome
- Duplex
- Manufactured home / mobile home
