Dear Community Partners,
Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty to look forward to at CCSS! We warmly invite you to join us on August 30 for our WeWalk WeTalk Carnival 2026.
Bring your family, friends and neighbors together for an exciting afternoon of community connection filled with fun activities.

🕐 Time: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
📍 Location: Connections Community Services Society
Walkathon: A community-paced 3-km walk along the beautiful Middle Arm Trail alongside volunteer walking buddies.
Carnival Booths for family and kids: Face Painting, Photo Booth, Lantern Lab, Stone Painting and LEGO Station.
Arts & Culture: Dried Floral Arts, Indigenous Cultural Sharing, Knit & Crochet bazaar crafted by local seniors.
Entertainment & Snacks: Mini concert with Ukulele Ensemble, Harp and Guitar Duet, Snacks and Drinks!
Come walk, celebrate and connect with your community!
🪶 Summer Cultural Camp for Indigenous Children & Youth
We are excited to offer our Free 2026 Summer Cultural Camp for Indigenous children and youth aged 4–15, with family members welcome to join the experience.
Running over two weeks this summer, the camp features a variety of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, sports, STEM, outdoor and land-based learning. It offers opportunities to build friendships in a safe, welcoming environment. RSVP now!

🍎 Connections Kids Club Summer Programs
Our Connections summer programs for kids are underway, with August featuring our second Nutrition Workshop & Mini Market and the Kids Career Days program.
The Nutrition Workshop helps adolescents build healthy eating habits through hands-on activities.
Kids Career Days immerses children and youth in STEM fields. Participants get to experiment with real activities, explore future job options, and spark motivation for promising careers.
