Whether helping set up for a special community event, mentoring a student who needs support, or teaching seniors how to work with technology, volunteers can make valuable contributions to our programs and events. Because we are a loving organization, many of our volunteers make long-term commitments, such as volunteering for a school term or for the full school year.

Our first Volunteer Meet-up Party on May 2 was a wonderful evening filled with connection, laughter, and appreciation. Whether you joined us in person or were with us in spirit, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for being part of the CCSS community. It was all about celebrating you—the dedicated volunteers who make everything we do possible.

I’m so happy to have seen a lot of you at the first volunteer meet-up gathering. Your passion, dedication, and energy to serve our community were shining through — it was absolutely inspiring. You reminded me once again of how powerful it is when people come together with a shared purpose. We are all in this together — one team, one heart, one community.
