Connections Community Services Society (CCSS) hosted a Parent-Child Relationship Workshop on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The event brought together parents from across Richmond, united in their commitment to fostering strong, positive family relationships.

We were delighted to see a wonderful turnout of engaged parents from across our community, all united by a shared commitment to nurturing stronger, more positive relationships with their children.

Our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Rachel Miu(繆美詩), a certified Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) instructor, for leading an exceptional and insightful session. The workshop addressed children’s growing exposure to social media and digital technology in today’s world, with Rachel delving into the psychology behind excessive screen time while guiding parents with practical, connection-based approaches to navigating parent–child communication challenges.

The workshop resonated deeply with parents, leaving many feeling empowered and inspired to communicate with their children in a more empathetic manner.
