Description
As a Classroom Helper, you’ll support the centre manager and teacher to support the classroom activities for preschool children aged 3–5. You will also assist in the clean-up and reset the classroom for the program on the next day. This is a great opportunity for those interested in childcare, teaching, or early childhood education.
🗓 Schedule: Monday to Friday
⏰ Time: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
📍 Location: Spul’u’kwuks Elementary School
5999 Blanshard Dr, Richmond, BC V7C 5V4
📅 Commitment: 3 days/week
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom activities
- Support the setup and cleanup of classroom space
- Supervise and interact with children in a safe, engaging way
- Help with transitions between activities
- Work under the guidance of licensed childcare educators
Requirements/Skills
- Must be 16 years or older
- Enjoy working with young children
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing
- Willing to follow safety and classroom rules
- Prior childcare experience is an asset but not required
